Skokie Country Club's architectural history includes a couple different routing changes and land acquisitions that resulted in the course that stands today. The byproduct of this history is a collection of holes that includes a unique mix of Donald Ross and Langford/Moreau. This particular project was a complete bunker renovation that required some significant changes as much of the old shaping and architecture had been lost. The course itself is a delightfully easy walk due to the flatness of the site, but many of the bold bunkers and features (now restored) provide a great amount of playing interest on your way to the green, several of which are particularly severe and tilted.
